Ochsenhausen – A person was found dead in a house fire in Ochsenhausen (Biberach district).

The identity has not yet been clarified, said one Police spokesman on Saturday.
In the course of the day, fire investigators are to examine the building, which is now at risk of collapse.

According to this, passers-by noticed the burning house in Dürnachstrasse in the Mittelbuch district of Ochsenhausen around 2.15 a.m. and alarmed the rescue workers.
When the fire department arrived, the house was completely on fire. The soldiers fought the fire with around 80 emergency services and discovered a body.
“It is said to be a 76-year-old who lived in the house alone,” write the officials. Emergency ministers looked after the relatives. The police have started the investigation, specialists are taking care of the evidence.
The investigators were only able to enter the building on Saturday morning because of the risk of collapse and the fire department still fighting various embers. The cause of the fire is still unclear. The criminal police are investigating in all directions. According to initial estimates, damage to property is around 200,000 euros.
