Irfan Khan, the hero of the homeless millionaire Slumdog millionaire, passed away at the age of 53.
Irfan Khan, who gained international fame after starring in Slumdog Millionaire and Jurassic World, is the son of a well-off Muslim family, where his mother belongs to a royal family and his father was a well-off businessman, according to a report prepared by CNN Arab.
A Bollywood star whose name caused him great trouble, most notably his arrest twice in the United States due to the similarity of his name to the name of one of the people she was looking for.

About two years ago, specifically in 2018, Irfan Khan announced that he had a cancerous endocrine tumor, and wrote a letter about his experience during two months of treatment in which he talked about “the severity of pain and the state of uncertainty” in life, and the message spread among millions of his fans after their sympathy for him.
Irfan Khan achieved great international fame after his participation in the movie “Eight Slumdog Millionaire”, which won eight Oscars and “Jurassic World”.

He said in an interview with the BBC: «In the past, in the fifties and sixties of the last century, we had our own unique language and used the songs in a very imaginative way, the songs were the source of the movie’s strength.

He added, “Now we are satisfied, and the songs became a burden, which is the reason that the international audiences in the West have stopped following us, because there is no credibility.”
Among his most famous films in English are (The Amazing Spider-Man) and (Life Of Pi).
When he was speaking in one of his interviews with Asian Network presenter Bobby Friction on the 100th anniversary of the Indian film industry, specifically about the first Indian gesture movie produced in 1913, the presenter asked him what this meant for him.

Khan replied, criticizing: “We do not have many sources of entertainment in India, and this is the reason why we have continued our success in India for a hundred years.”
He explained that «there were wonderful works that we do in the past, we had wonderful directors, and films produced in what is called the Indian style punctuated by songs and dances, and despite that, they were using these techniques to address the issues of society, but we lost that magic».

Khan avoided acting in light films, which leave no impact on the viewer soon after watching.
“I try to play roles in films that make a longer impact, the ones that address you and make you want to watch it again and again. The best movies are those that leave a mark for longer periods.”
And the statement issued by his public relations company, which confirmed his death, said: “Khan left us to heaven, surrounded by his fans and his family, leaving behind a distinctive legacy of his soul for peace.”
