As we have already reported, NVIDIA may present its upcoming Ampere GPUs at the upcoming GTC 2020 event. However, it seems that the full specifications and release dates for all Ampere GPUs have been published online.
In a remote tweet, Chiakokhua shared the next slide. Chiakokhua has predicted some predictions in the past, so these specifications may be real. However, since NVIDIA has not yet shown anything, at the moment this information is classified as rumor.
According to the leak, Ampere’s high-performance graphics processor, RTX 3080 Ti, will be released in the fourth quarter of 2020. This GPU will have about 8192 GPU cores, 256 RT cores, 1024 Tensor cores and a clock frequency in the boost of 1750 MHz.
There is a possibility that the RTX 3080Ti is actually the new Titan GPU. In the end, this GPU will be around 28 TFlops. For reference, the RTX2080Ti is a 13.5 TFlops GPU. If so, then the RTX3080 is actually the RTX 3080Ti.
On the other hand, the RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 will appear in the third quarter of 2020. As for the RTX 3060, this GPU is likely to be released in the first quarter of 2021.
