On Wednesday, North Korea’s official news agency reported that Kim Jong Un had discussed Typhoon Bavi’s disaster response and the spread of the coronavirus at a Politburo meeting earlier in the day.
The event was attended by mostly senior members of the Labor Party but not his sister Kim Yo Jong who was a “candidate” for the Politburo.

Yo Jong has been seen on every occasion before, where he kindly recorded what his sister said.
Experts believe that Yo Jong hid himself from public attention for fear of speculation from outside about his status in the regime.
