“It should be noted that no explosions occurred when the shells fell, as a result of which there were no human casualties and no destruction,” the report says.

The department noted only that minor damage was caused to four private houses in the city of Termez. The fifth projectile was found on the football field. All explosive objects were neutralized by a sapper unit.

The competent authorities of Uzbekistan, together with the Afghan side, are taking the necessary measures to establish the causes of this incident.

Recall that in the Autonomous Republic of Karakalpakstan, which is part of Uzbekistan, large-scale protests. The reason was the amendments to the Constitution of Uzbekistan, which make impossible the sovereign status of Karakalpakstan and its right to secede from the country.
