AMSTERDAM – Why did Olof Palme decide to watch a last minute movie 34 years ago? The Swedish prime minister was certainly not a man of impulsive decisions, but he suddenly went to the cinema. The perpetrator who shot him later that evening must have known that. Was there a connection? All of Sweden was anxiously awaiting the “redeeming news” in the illustrious murder case on Wednesday. Now that the Public Prosecution Service states that the “Skandia man” has murdered the prime minister, many questions still remain.
