An electric shock from a catenary of the train seriously injured a 16-year-old in Osnabrück. The police said that the youngster and a 20-year-old climbed onto a train on the tracks between the old town station and the central station early Sunday morning. The electric shock from the overhead line hit them both.
The 20-year-old alarmed the rescue workers, the two injured came to surrounding hospitals by ambulance. The fatally injured adolescent was later flown to a special clinic by helicopter.
