Fans want new music.
On Sunday night, the singing star Adele (32) announced in a post on Instagram that she will lead “Saturday Night Live” on October 24. This is the first time fans have seen her in a long time, and many are happy that she is back on stage.
However, the 32-year-old will not sing in the TV comeback, as it is Gabriella Wilson (23) – perhaps best known under the artist name HERE – who is booked in as the musical feature. Fans’ disappointment is evident in the comments section.

Adele has not released any new music since 2015, when the album “25” came out. Many thought the new Instagram post was a hint of new music on the way, but then not.
“Until I read the caption I thought this was a release of a new song”, writes one, followed by crying emojis.
“I thought there was a new album coming, why are you disappointing me this way”, writes another.
“Why are you doing this to us?”, asks a third.
Returns after twelve years
Adele herself is really looking forward to being on the “Saturday Night Live” stage again, twelve years after she was there for the first time.
At the time, however, she was the musical guest.
«(…) I have always wanted to do it, but the timing has never been right. But if ever there was a time when we just have to jump in with our eyes closed and hope for the best, then it’s 2020, or what? It will be almost exactly twelve years since I was first on the show, during an election … Which ended up breaking through in the US, so it feels like a circle closing, and I could not say no », she writes on Instagram.

Despite a lot of disappointment in the comments field, there are also more who are looking forward to seeing her again.

Adele has in recent months made fans stare at several occasions, much due to a heavy weight loss.
The first shock came a month after it became known that the British singing star and her husband of seven years, Simon Konecki (46), would go their separate ways at the end of September last year. Then she shared a picture where she was almost unrecognizable.

Since then, she has shared several photos on social media, to mixed reactions from fans.
Among other things, several have meant The 32-year-old looks ill, in addition to the fact that she had a hard time last August after a picture where she dressed up for the annual carnival in Notting Hill. Then Adele became, among other things accused of cultural appropriation.
