Anti-crisis shield introduced a number of solutions to help entrepreneurs injured as a result of the coronavirus epidemic. The flagship ideas included exemption from contributions SISTER and additional standstill benefit. Initially, it was assumed that the aid would be available for three months. Last Friday, the Sejm of the Republic of Poland unanimously decided to extend this deadline for the most affected sectors.
Additional downtime allowance. For whom?
Pursuant to the amendment, a person running a business who has already benefited from the standstill benefit is entitled to an additional benefit, provided that his / her income has decreased by at least 80%. in the month preceding the submission of the application in relation to the same month of the previous year.
The solution will be available to entrepreneurs conducting activities specified in the Polish Classification of Activities (PKD) 2007 and marked with codes:
- 49.39.Z (Other passenger land transport),
- 77.39.Z (Rental and lease of other machines, devices and material goods),
- 90.01.Z (Activities related to staging artistic performances),
- 90.02.Z (Activities supporting the staging of artistic performances),
- 93.29.Z (Other amusement and recreation activities).
In addition, seasonal tour pilots and tourist guides (code 79.90.A) who suspended their activity after August 31, 2019 and performed it seasonally for no longer than nine months a year, will be entitled to the parking allowance.
The standstill benefit for people running a non-agricultural business activity is, according to the applicable regulations, a one-off benefit in the amount of PLN 2,080 (80% of the minimum remuneration) or PLN 1,300 (50% of the minimum wage when the entrepreneur settles accounts on the tax card and benefits from the exemption from VAT). Applications for the downtime benefit may be submitted no later than three months from the month in which the epidemic has been resolved.
