Earlier on Friday (1/7/2022), there were 6,090,509 cases of COVID-19 recorded in Indonesia, 5,916,854 cases recovered and 156,740 cases died.

Along with the spread of the Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 subvariants. The COVID-19 Handling Task Force said that in the last month 99 percent of the COVID-19 cases reported by Indonesia were infections with the Omicron variant.
