Actress Nela Kailová battles chronic illness: Life with Crohn’s Disease

Life really doesn’t play nice with Nela. Although it is already clear that Crohn’s disease is to blame for her chronic health problems, her suffering is basically just beginning with this discovery. The disease cannot be cured. When it appears, people live with it for life. But before starting effective treatment, the actress from Code Blue or Office in the Rose Garden still has to wait for the results of some examinations.

“We are still waiting for the next examination and the results of the biopsy, which will not be until June 16. Nela is still thin, her seizures are recurring. We don’t know at all how this will continue.” Nelina’s mother revealed in an interview for TN.cz. So far, Nela is holding on bravely, doing everything the doctors tell her to do. “She’s trying, but there are times when she sleeps for three days and then she’s fine again for a day. For now, he is on corticoids and anti-inflammatory drugs,” describes the mother of the fragile blonde.

Although it is difficult, the actress does not lose her optimism. “It somehow works, I’m just always tired, so it’s quite difficult. But the pain is less, so I’m happy,” praises the patient. “I have prescribed treatment, but I’m not ready for biological treatment yet, so I’m taking very strong corticoids and antibiotics,” explains the singer, for whom fatigue is a big problem. “Yesterday I was out because the doctors told me I had to go out somehow. But I won’t be there for more than an hour. I’m quite tired, so my sister only took me to the nature to see the horses, which helped me a lot. But then again I slept the whole day,” admits Petra from the endless series Ulice.

However, she would like to return to the stage and the square soon. “He hopes to be working again soon. He is planning concerts in July, because he is traveling with a recital by Iveta Bartošová. We hope it will be better, Nela would like to be back in front of the camera,” says the actress’ mother, and Nela agrees. “I hope that I will be fine in July, I would also like to start shooting,” Kailová is looking forward to a better tomorrow.
