At the opening of the virtual meeting, coronavirus requires, actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus spoke and stood out. The actress, known for her roles in the “Veep” or “Seinfeld” series, returned to the news of the American campaign and did not hesitate to openly mock Donald Trump.
In a humoristic tone, she encouraged voters who wanted information about the vote to text “VOTE” to 30330, while US president accused of wanting to scuttle postal votes.
“30330, that would be the president’s golf score if he didn’t cheat”, added the actress, all smiles. A number easy to remember also declares Julia Louis-Dreyfus, since “This will be the year Donald Trump releases his tax returns.”
Julia Louis-Dreyfus also voluntarily scratched the name of US Vice President Mike Pence in an exchange with the presenter, revisiting the controversy over the pronunciation of the name of Joe Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris, by the vice president during ‘a speech. “Mike Pince, where is Pance? Some weird foreign name”, jokes the actress. And the presenter replied: “Yeah, that doesn’t sound very American.”
Later, the actress also shared the reasons for her support for Joe Biden and how their first contact went. Then vice-president of Barack Obama, Biden called her about a magazine article about which the actress was the subject.
“All this to remind you that Joe Biden can read”, laughs Julia Louis-Dreyfus again, referring to the intellectual capacities of Donald Trump, often criticized.
