After admitting her guilt in 2019 for a case of sex trafficking linked to the NXIVM sect, actress Allison Mack, recognized for her role in the series Smallvillewas released from a prison in the state of California, confirms the site Albany Times-Union.

“I threw myself into Keith Raniere’s teachings with everything I had. I believed, with all my heart, that his mentorship was leading me to a better, more enlightened version of myself. I dedicated my loyalty, my resources, and ultimately my life to him. This was the biggest mistake and biggest regret of my life,” he said.
Who was the founder of the Nxvim sect?
Raniere was arrested in Mexico in March 2018 after being indicted in a New York court for sex trafficking and conspiring to commit sex trafficking and forced labor.
