Drivers in the Bavarian capital of Munich were on edge as traffic collapsed on Monday due to activists from the Last Generation movement blocking traffic on one of the city’s busiest thoroughfares. Some did not argue with the activists, took them on the hood and stepped on the gas, reports the weekly Focus.

Activists of the Last Generation group blocked roads in Munich on Monday morning, significantly disrupting rush hour traffic.
Impatient drivers continued to drive even as placard-carrying protesters sat on the road in front of their cars, refusing to budge.
The situation was particularly complicated on the city circuit towards Innsbruck. The dialed-up drivers then started getting out of their cars and tried to pull the activists off the road. When the vehicles then began to drive through the cleared space, other activists again tried to stop their vehicles, the website said Focus.
Some activists lay down in front of the wheels of the cars, others even started jumping on the hoods of the cars, until one driver spun out so much that he continued driving even though he had activists literally glued to his car.

The police tried to disperse the protests on the spot. Angry drivers also pulled activists off the road to get ahead.
The Last Generation group has announced that it wants to turn Munich into a “bastion of protest” ahead of the IAA mobility fair, which takes place at the beginning of September. The police are investigating these disruptive actions for, among other things, suspicion of coercion and violation of the assembly law.
Petr Štěpánek showed how aggressively the American police intervene against the climate activists who are obstructing road transport, in one of the videos you can see how they run over them with their cars, after which the police immediately knock them down with a gun pointed at them and handcuff them. “Why don’t our police do the same?” he asks.
As a recession, a funny video with Jehovists who see a climate activist stuck to the road so scared that he tries to run away himself is spreading. “Use Jehovah’s Witnesses Against Climate Labels. Best idea in a long time,” reads the video’s caption.
