EThis Saturday March 26, the Mexican Abraham Ancer achieved its qualification to the quarterfinals of the WGC-Dell Technolgies Match Play golf, which takes place in Austin, Texas, after beat the American and number two in the world, Collin Morikawa, by 7 and 6.
The Mexican, who is in 19th place in the world ranking, completely overwhelm his rival, To who I did not let him win a single one of the 12 holes who disputed and stopped when there were still six left.
Ancer, who has already won a WGC series tournament -the Fed Ex St. Jude Invitational in 2021- took holes 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 to take the victory by 7 ahead and six to play.
The first player to reach the quarterfinals was Ireland’s Seamus Power, who faced Scottie Scheffler. For its part, Abraham Ancer will face Canadian Corey Conners.
