Aar Li Nu Bokk, Doy Na and Gno Lank cancel the march scheduled for this afternoon to …

The Aar Li Nu Bokk Collective, Doy na and Gno Lank held a press conference this Friday, August 14, 2020 to announce the cancellation of their march which was scheduled for this afternoon. Appointed as spokesperson for the day, Guy Marius Sagna accused the authorities of having wanted to harm them with the populations. “We have suffered a campaign of discredit since we announced the holding of this march until today on the part of the State of Senegal”, said Guy Marius Sagna.

Before adding that this campaign aims to discredit us as irresponsible people having no concern and no empathy for the Senegalese people, in particular the patients of the Coronavirus.

For him, this situation demonstrates the state’s inability to solve the problem of students, workers and the problem of rural people with the privatization of water management, etc.

To this end, the activist calls on the government to lower the tension. Thus, he wanted to clarify that the organizations have decided to postpone the demonstration which was to be held on August 14 to further mobilize their troops because the fight will continue to continue in order to respond to the requests for assistance that come to them all over the world. .

Guy Marius Sagna specifies that citizens that even to fight against the Coronavirus, it is necessary to impose a balance of power on the State in order to increase the number of screening tests so that the State can distribute masks massively and free of charge to populations, but also to strengthen health structures and personnel.

And to get out of the clutches of this disease, advises Guy Marius Sagna, we must overcome this fear of Covid-19 otherwise this pandemic is likely to last a long time because of this strange war that the State is waging against the Coronavirus.
