A 22-year-old man was shot and killed by a man who had been with him inside a truck in Astoria (Queens); and also this weekend in the same county a woman was shot at a hotel near New York’s JFK airport.
The male victim received a shot in the back while in the driver’s seat of a Range Rover near the intersection of 41st Street and 30th Avenue in Astoria, around 10:05 p.m. Sunday, according to police. A witness told authorities that Another man inside the car got out, turned around and shot the victim.
A dispute sparked the shootingsources said. Paramedics took the young man to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No arrests were made immediately and police did not provide a description of the suspect or identify the victim, it reported. New York Post.
The day before, Saturday morning, A 23-year-old woman was shot at a hotel about two miles from John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens.
The violence unfolded around 2:40 am inside the “JFK Inn” on South Conduit Avenue, where a man shot the girl in the stomachsaid a spokesman for the NYPD. The unidentified victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, authorities said.
