The year 2020 has been successful for Stender and has marked positive development trends, including an increase in exports, mainly due to new products and a new brand identity, informs the company. Continuing its development, Stenders has installed new product filling and packaging lines in April.
The company’s ability to adapt to the difficult situation of Covid-19 and respond appropriately to changes has allowed it to end the previous year with a profit and start this year with new growth plans, mainly focusing on business development in new markets, streamlining production processes and developing new products.
“Developing export market share requires constant work on innovation and renewal of existing products. The industry is evolving around the world, there is relentless competition for customer attention. Today’s consumer is becoming more educated, demanding, sustainable solutions are increasingly important. capacity to ensure our products in both existing and new markets, “says Kristīne Grapmane, CEO of Stenders.
In 2021, Stenders will focus on new markets, wholesale and e-commerce development. Grapmane says that “Stenders” is the largest exporter of Latvian cosmetics in Asia, mainly in China. At the same time, bath and body care cosmetics produced in Latvia have become available to the American market, both by opening a store in Suriname and by starting cooperation with “Amazon.with”.
Through wholesale, Stenders products can also be found in Douglas, Spain, as well as a franchise agreement signed and a new store opened in Jordan. Work is also continuing to explore new markets in a number of others European a Asian countries.
“Stenders” implements the entire laboratory and production process in Latvia, and further development plans of the company envisage maintaining Latvia as a home market.
