A young man, in his 30s, has died in a traffic accident that occurred this afternoon in Úbeda on the JA-5104 road, which connects the town with Santa Eulalia. Emergencies received the notice shortly after 6:10 p.m.. A citizen called 112 to indicate that there was a damaged vehicle on the aforementioned road, at the entrance to Santa Eulalia, and inside there was an unconscious person who needed assistance.
Immediately, the health services of the Junta de Andalucía, the fire department of Úbeda, the Civil Guard and the Local Police were informed. Health personnel and the Local Police have confirmed to 112 that the deceased person is the driver and that he was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Nor would there be any more vehicles involved.
