A rich Roma wedding caused an outbreak of coronavirus in the Tarnovo region. A few days ago, a wealthy Roma family from a village in the municipality of Polski Trambesh held a wedding, which was attended by dozens of guests from near and far.
A few days after the celebration, some of the wedding guests found themselves with a K-19. The other celebrants were identified by health inspectors and law enforcement and quarantined “Monitor”.
In addition to the wedding guests, there are three other outbreaks in the area. Two of them are in kindergartens, and the third – in a center for children with disabilities.
At the moment, eight children from Veliko Tarnovo district are being treated in hospitals.
The youngest patient among them is a 26-day-old baby raised by a foster mother. He was placed for treatment in the neonatology department of the regional hospital in Veliko Tarnovo.
