“The president wears a bulletproof vest and holds an automatic weapon in his hands”, specifies the message accompanying the video.

According to the footage, Lukashenko appears to be wearing a folding butt Kalashnikov, without a magazine.

The mobilization continues

The mobilization against the strong man of Belarus has not weakened since the announcement of the results of the ballot of August 9 which gave him the winner with 80% of the votes.

On Sunday, it seemed equivalent to that of last week, when some 100,000 people took to the streets of the Belarusian capital on August 16, according to AFP journalists.

In power for 26 years, Lukashenko, had sworn this week to “solve the problem” of the dispute, the result of a Western plot according to him, and even put the army on alert, accusing NATO of maneuvering in borders of Belarus.
