A Sunday in the countryside, it’s off again. Here is the program!

It is arguably one of the most popular events in the Aube, attracting nearly 25,000 visitors throughout the department. A meeting awaited, not only by farmers, delighted to discover the backstage and daily life of their profession, but especially by families, eager to treat themselves to a breath of fresh air away from the city’s horns. After being canceled last year, due to the health crisis, the Un Dimanche à la campagne operation, carried by Terres & Vignes de l’Aube, is back for this 25th edition.

Twelve new sites opened, including three in Haute-Marne

The objective has not changed and aims to allow the public to meet the actors of the rural territory. So, thirty-five sites will be open and 150 players will be mobilized this year, including twelve new ones, including three in Haute-Marne.

A specific Aube, Un Dimanche à la Campagne is being followed and seduced beyond the borders of the department. Enough to allow Aubois to push their walks a little further, to take an interest in new places.

As every year, the program promises to be the most tempting. From Estissac to Méry-sur-Seine via Marolles-lès-Bailly, Champ-sur-Barse… You will be spoiled for choice when determining your destination.

Cheese dairy, stable, farm …

You will be able to push the doors of the Arrelles goat farm as well as those of the Cothias champagne in Meurville, but also those of the artisanal cheese dairy in Chaource, the Escargotière des Lacs in Chapelle-Vallon, the Hotte farm in Eaux -Puiseaux or the DOC team in Ossey-les-Trois-Maisons …

All have put the small dishes in the big ones to welcome you in the best conditions and take you into the world of the agricultural world, in a fun and educational way. The opportunity to interact in a relaxed manner with farmers and other breeders, eager to share their passion with as many people as possible.

In the program : tastings, educational workshops, sale of artisanal products, games, discovery of animals … Always in compliance with the health protocol in force (hydroalcoholic gel, wearing a compulsory mask, physical distancing). It is with this in mind that certain sites have decided to open on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 June, in order to receive visitors as well as possible, throughout the weekend.

After long weeks of confinement, life is gradually resuming its course. If you want a change of scenery, to give yourself a breath of fresh air, take the path to the Aube countryside!

25th edition of Un Dimanche à la campagne, today, Sunday 13 June.
