a stabbed man, between life and death

Shortly before 11 p.m. in Terville on Friday night, a man in his twenties called the police, explaining that he had assaulted a man who attacked his girlfriend. At least this is the version delivered by a witness to the scene.

Spotted by a motorist on rue Le Kem, shirtless and nervous, the young man who had called for help had a facial injury and allegedly left a kitchen knife on the ground.

Arrested, he was Saturday afternoon still in custody according to the Thionville prosecutor’s office.

The man who allegedly attacked the girlfriend, meanwhile, was hospitalized. His vital prognosis was still engaged on Saturday.
