One lost his life Azerbaijan soldier, also suffered four Nagorno-Karabakh Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A Russian officer has been transported to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, and his life is not in danger, the ministry said.
The incident took place in a village in Madagiza, where a group of Russian peacekeepers, representatives of the Azerbaijani armed forces and an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross, searched the bodies.
In the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, intense fighting between Azerbaijani and Armenian forces, with large casualties among the armed forces and civilians, resumed on 27 September.
Turkey provided support to the Azerbaijani side in the Karabakh conflict.
The war was ended with a ceasefire agreement on 9 November by Armenia and Azerbaijan achieved with Russian support.
The agreement provides for the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in the disputed region.
