The CHU of Liège is awaiting the results sent to the KUL, concerning 7 patients suspected of being carriers of the coronavirus. But, according to our colleagues from RTL, the state of a person’s health has been considered worrying. The patient is therefore kept in isolation in the hospital.
“The epidemic is progressing in Europe and Belgium,” the hospital said in a statement. “The CHU de Liège has therefore taken precautionary measures. We are setting up the separation of patient flows, we are recalling hygiene instructions and recommend that visitors take special precautions. “
This Monday, the hospital counted 7 suspected cases of coronavirus. One of the patients was hospitalized in a non-critical condition. A second is still under consideration. The other five are homebound to prevent further contagion.
