A person died on Saturday evening in the fire in his home in Marche-en-Famenne, according to the Luxembourg prosecutor’s office. The flames spread to nearby homes. Several homes are affected, confirm the firefighters.
The fire started around 7:45 p.m. in a house located on rue Paradis des chevaux, not far from the Colruyt of Marche-en-Famenne.
The flames spread to the adjoining buildings. The Marche-en-Famenne firefighters intervened on site with the support of the Dinaphi rescue zone. The occupant of the building where the fire started has died, confirms the Luxembourg public prosecutor’s office. A forensic doctor came down on the spot. Homework should be done during the course of Sunday to determine the source of the fire.
