Representative Muhammad al-Masoud, a member of the Parliamentary Committee of the Future National Party, submitted a request for briefing addressed to the Prime Minister and the Ministers of Health and Supply regarding the proliferation of industrial detergent factories that do not comply with the standard specifications and their adulterated products causing health damage.
The “Al-Masoud”, in a statement today, Sunday, the spread of adulterated liquid soap that does not meet the specifications in the market in abundance these days, and it has special harm on women, as it afflicts them with skin diseases that may reach the skin cancer.
He continued, “Millions of Egyptian women are at risk of developing serious skin diseases, especially the housewives who spend the longest time possible in the home business, which requires the use of liquid soaps frequently in these works.”
Al-Masoud pointed out that the National Research Center warned against the spread of adulterated liquid soap, as it is one of the most important causes of skin cancer among Egyptian women, stressing the need to take the necessary precautions when using it.
He commented: “Not only women, but when liquid soap is used to wash dishes, the water does not permanently purify tools, but liquid soap remains stuck with them for long periods of time, and users of that tool use it.
He pointed out that, according to specialized doctors, liquid soap is one of the most important causes of cancer, including the skin, colon and stomach.
