Shortly before Eicma, a disguised Moto Guzzi V7 had been paparazzi on the shores of Lake Lecco. Everything suggested a new model that we would see at the Milan Motor Show, and instead … the Italian manufacturer brought “only” the brand new V100 Mandello and the V85 TT Honor Guard. There was no trace of this new mysterious model in Milan.
Let’s imagine, therefore, that his presentation is very close. But what is it about? Looking at the spy photo it would appear that this new model will be a new version of the V7, with its proven 853cc air-cooled 90 ° transverse V-twin. It is an engine capable of delivering 62 hp at 6,200 rpm. and 73 Nm at 5,000 rpm. We also see the Brembo braking system, as well as the pair of rear shock absorbers. What is intriguing, however, is the front, where we notice a small one-piece fairing, which embraces the headlight, probably LED, and two strange descending protections on the fork legs. The rear, on the other hand, is of the “single-seater” type. Below it run the two tailpipes, positioned rather high up.
We just have to wait for the next few weeks to see what new model will come out of the Mandello del Lario factory.
