Who says new season says new jerseys. Each year, Nike prepares a few different tunics to complement the traditional outfits of each franchise. And for the 75th Los Angeles Lakers season, the comma mark had to mark the occasion. She has therefore planned a rather special jersey in tribute to the beginnings of the organization.

Purple and blue … icy. Colors reminiscent of those of the franchise at the time. The Lakers were formed in Minnesota – hence their name – in 1948 and remained there until 1961. They were crowned in their first season and won five titles in Minneapolis! With notably George Mikan | in their ranks, the first superstar in NBA history.
