Glastonbury festival is not only music, it is also relaxation, entertainment, new friends, new meetings. You can try to tell about everything that happens during five days, but it is better to show it in photos.

Everything has a beginning, everything has an end. Already driving back to Latvia, I wondered: what could be seen in Latvia after this event? How quickly will I be able to get back into Latvian music events so that there is no unnecessary comparison in my head all the time, here and there? And now, when several months have passed after last year’s music season, my conclusion is that great events are also taking place in Latvia.

From individual concerts, the concert tour of “Prāta Vētras”, no matter what one tries to talk about, was and remains the main event of last year’s musical life in Latvia. Yes, I also agree with those who say that the rate of production of new hits has decreased.

From the last two albums, “Dieva kamanas” really stuck with me, more… Yes, there are catchy and sonorous songs, “Tautumeitas” was great as always, but still the listeners are lifted above the ground by “Chetri krasti”, “Spogulītis “, and if that’s not enough for someone, then “Airplanes” are launched into the air. And then there is the question – what else do we want from these guys? There comes a time for everyone when new jobs don’t come out like that anymore. After all, no one expects new hits from Sir Paul McCartney anymore, he has already done his. I don’t want to say that you shouldn’t expect new hits from “Brainstorm”, but you have to accept that perhaps the best ones have already been created. And I, like everyone, will be happy to say to myself: yes, I was wrong, hey, what do these guys still have inside. What is sad, it is very likely that the concert in Jelgava meadow was the last one in this place, at least the information in the public space indirectly indicates this. If this is the case, then everyone will have to accept that “Brainstorm” against the background of Jelgava Castle is already history.
