A man violently attacked his partner Saturday during the day, while he was in the street in the Guillemins district, the prosecutor’s office of Liège said on Sunday. The suspect has been deprived of his liberty and will be subject to an expedited citation.
On Saturday, an individual in his thirties gave a slap to his companion while they were in the middle of the street in the Guillemins district in Liège. Passers-by who attended the scene then contacted the police. The victim has two broken teeth and a damaged jaw. She was incapacitated for 15 days from work.
At first, she did not wish to file a complaint. She finally agreed. The suspect is known to the courts for assault and battery. He had already been sentenced to a suspended sentence for this type of incident. It will soon be subject to an accelerated procedure.
