A man dies covered in blood in the parking lot of the Kelapa Gading Apartment

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – A man with the initials EZW (32) was found dead covered in blood in his car parked in an apartment building in the area Ivory CoconutNorth Jakarta, Wednesday (23/4/2022).

Kelapa Gading Police Chief Commissioner Rio Mikael Tobing said that his party received a report on the incident on Wednesday night at 21.00 WIB, regarding the discovery of a body in the P5 parking area of ​​the apartment building.

“After we received the report, members of the Kelapa Gading Police came to the scene and found the victim’s condition was lifeless, sitting in the middle position, behind the driver,” said Rio, Thursday (24/3/2022).

When police officers arrived at the crime scene, the window of the victim’s Xenia car was shattered due to being smashed by the security officer who found it.

Rio said the victim was found by his wife at around 20.30 with security officers from the apartment.

According to Rio, apartment security was forced to break the left window pane because the victim’s car was locked.

“After that, we carried out an investigation and processed the crime scene first. Then we found that when we found the victim, the car was locked from the inside and the key was to the left of the victim,” he said.

Not only that, the car also found a knife to the right of the victim which was allegedly used to stab the neck.

Rio said the victim’s wound was at least 3-5 centimeters in size, which ran across the middle of the neck.

The Kelapa Gading Police immediately carried out an investigation to find preliminary evidence, including collecting CCTV footage from around the location.

From the CCTV footage, he said, it was found that the victim came into the apartment area where the victim lived at around 16.30 WIB.

“From 16.30 the victim had parked at P2 first. Then got back into the car and moved to P5. At 20.30, the victim was found by his wife and security,” he said.

“From 16.30 to 20.30 from CCTV monitoring, no other people were found approaching and approaching the car. From before or after the victim was lifeless,” he said.

The victim was immediately rushed to the RSCM for an autopsy.

The police are currently investigating the cause of death of the victim, who is an employee of a private company.
