Relatives of the man have been notified, police in the East report.
The police received a number of reports of a car driving on the E6 at Olavsgård in Lillestrøm just before 10.30 pm on Wednesday night, operations manager Kristian Loraas informs NRK.
– The car drove north in a southerly direction, and shortly afterwards we received a message that it had run into a lorry, Loraas says.
To VG informs the police that the driver of the lorry is stated to be unharmed. No one else was involved in the accident.
The road was completely closed in a southerly direction, and was closed for a good while beyond.
The police and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration have carried out investigations on the spot during the night until Maundy Thursday.

The E6 between Oslo and Gardermoen is a very busy road.
