National Police agents have arrested a man in A Coruña for robbery with violence in a commercial establishment, in which he confronted the security guard who observed that he passed through the line of boxes without paying a perfume that he had put in his backpack.
According to the National Police, events occurred on May 23, around 3:00 p.m. A team in charge of the prevention and maintenance of citizen security was sent to a commercial establishment located in the Ronda de Outeiro, since one person “was very violent,” he added.
When the agents arrived they met with the security guard of the establishment, who told them that moments before a male had tried to steal a perfume by passing through the checkout line without paying for it.
In addition, he told them that the man, when he was surprised, “had become quite aggressive, even trying to hit the guard, who had also been kicked several times,” the police highlighted.
Thus, the guard decided to keep the individual there until the arrival of the police. In view of the facts, the agents proceeded to arrest the man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with violence.
The arrested individual has been transferred to police stations, where the police proceedings were processed for what happened. Once completed, the 44-year-old arrested man with several previous arrests was brought to justice.
