The ASM Sales Force Agency report indicates that in August the value of the average shopping cart increased – month to month – by 1 percent, according to the Bankier.pl portal.
The auditors examined 40 basic necessities (of the same brands and of the same weight) from various categories. They took into account stationary, online and so-called hybrids (online and offline sales).
The basket includes, among others meat, cold cuts, fish, frozen foods, dairy products, household chemicals, cosmetics.
The study was conducted in discount stores (Lidl and Biedronka), traditional chains (Auchan, Carrefour, E.Leclerc, Intermarché, Kaufland, Tesco) and cash & carry (Makro and Selgros).
The most for the same purchases is PLN 252.41, and the least for PLN 214.74, i.e. the difference is PLN 38.
