a Lorraine start-up to catalyze entrepreneurial projects

From idea to business, the road is often long and winding. But it is undoubtedly the recruitment of talent that constitutes the main obstacle on the road to success. This simple observation convinced Cédric Paquet and Vincent Courson, both computer engineers, to try to develop a solution. “The idea was to set up an online platform that allows project leaders to present their idea and detail their needs as well as to all those who have skills, in various fields, indicate that they are available… A tool that makes it possible to make the link between this and that! », Explains Cédric Paquet.

Student-entrepreneur

A link that usually comes at the cost of sometimes long and tedious research, often “limited to the network of friends and relatives of the project leaders. Which is not always fully satisfactory or even crowned with success ”.

The platform developed by the two young engineers is called M’association : “Vincent Coursac, who is also employed, is in charge of the technical part and I take care of the rest”, further details Cédric Paquet. The latter, who has just graduated from Belfort Montbéliard University of Technology (UTBM), joined the Student Entrepreneurship Pole of Lorraine ( PeeL ) at the start of the year, which allows him to develop the project of which he is a co-founder in a very favorable environment, taking advantage of the status of student-entrepreneur and continuing his studies within the IAE, a management school of Metz.

Launch success

A triple blow for a young man from Thionville who, during his studies, has already “led several entrepreneurial projects which have reached different stages of maturity. But never like this one. “

With M’association, adds Cédric Paquet, “our job is to offer a directory with profiles and skills on one side and project sheets on the other. In addition to the link between the two, we offer different types of support depending on what the project leader expects: optimization of his profile, visibility, etc. », Adds the co-founder of the platform.

A tool with a simple business model: completely free for talents, the site operates according to different types of subscription for project leaders, depending on their needs. “For now, the site has around 500 registered members and around a hundred projects, while the platform has been open since 1is January only… ”

Good luck !
