A spokesperson reported this during a broadcast of Opsporing Verzocht. The man is said to have sexually assaulted a young girl in an alley. In the afternoon she played with a friend in the alley when she was addressed by the man.

The police had previously distributed a description of the perpetrator via Burgernet and the suspect was shown in a recognizable image last week in Investigation Requested. Only if the man reported before the TV broadcast would the police refrain from broadcasting the images.
