A dog was thrown from the 6th floor by its owner in Sofia

A dog was thrown from the sixth floor in the capital’s Mladost district. The dog lost sensitivity of its hind limbs from the fall. There is no danger for his life at the moment, but he may remain disabled, he reports BNT.

Six-year-old Bari was seen in the capital’s Mladost district until his landlord threw him from the sixth floor on Sunday afternoon.

The reason, according to the animal protection organization, which responded to the signal, was that it went out on the sofa in the apartment where he lived.

“He could not stand up, move, in a state of shock. We immediately started anti-shock therapy and he is actually more stable than yesterday,” said veterinarian Kaloyan Voychev.

Today, Barry already lives in a cage. No sensitivity of the hind limbs, can not go to the toilet alone. He has a spinal cord injury and a post-traumatic disc herniation.

According to Dr. Voychev, the chances of Barry regaining the sensitivity of his hind legs are minimal. He is more likely to remain disabled. The dog’s owner admitted what he had done.

“He said he threw it away, but he didn’t really understand what he was saying. He was really inadequate. Everyone is trying to cover up the case because it’s an animal and belittling it. Believe me, anyone who can touch an animal is dog, also attacks a person “, said Radoslav Rangelov from the animal protection organization Doghelp.bg

Immediately after the incident, the perpetrator was detained and pre-trial proceedings were instituted.

And once he is discharged from the clinic, Barry will need new owners to open their homes and hearts to him.
