A deadly accident at the Cipali Toll Road took six residents of Tegal Regency, including a couple

TEGAL – Six residents of Tegal Regency were victims of a deadly accident on the Km.184,300 toll road, Jaur B, to be precise in Ciwaringin Village, Ciwaringin District, Cirebon Regency, West Java Monday (10/8) in the morning. Of the six victims, there were a husband and wife couple (Pasutri), Suharjo (40) and Warkonah (35) from Bersole Village, Adiwerna District.

At around 17.45 WIB, the bodies of this husband and wife arrived at the funeral home and were greeted by family cries. In fact, when the body was brought into the funeral home, the victim’s mother fainted and had to be carried to the room. Meanwhile, Wakornah’s body was buried in her homeland in Lembarawa Village, Ajibarang Brebes District.

The victim’s mother, Roinah (65) said that Harjo in Jakarta worked as a ketropak trader. Harjo returns to his village with his wife to attend the wedding of one of his siblings.

“The last time I went home was 7 months ago. Eid didn’t come home and it’s only planned to go home today. But it turned out that there was a disaster, “he said.

Roinah cried and fainted when her son’s body arrived home.

Roinah did not think that an accident would kill her son and daughter-in-law. On Sunday (9/8) he got a call from his son and said that he would return to Tegal by using a travel. Suharjo also conveyed to his mother that he was expected to arrive in Tegal, Monday (10/8) at 02.00 WIB.

“He said he said it was 2 o’clock to the house, but it didn’t arrive. Because I was worried I finally called him. It turned out that when I was amazed, I picked up the police and said that he had an accident, “he said.

The victim’s father, Ruja (70) also felt sadness. He did not expect that his son would become one of the victims of the deadly accident that occurred on the Cipali toll road. Moreover, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, her child has just returned to her hometown.

“Yes, because he wanted to marry off his brother, his aunt, he went home. But I don’t think that on the way I have an accident. He has one child and is very young, ”he said.

Meanwhile, other victims were taken to their respective hometowns. The four victims who died were Princess Ainur Ifazah (18), from Meleten Village, Adiwerna. Two, May Sri Korina (21) from Lumingser Village, Adiwerna District. Three, Rapiah (55), from Bersoleh Village, Adiwerna District and four, Sugeng Raharjo (54) from Balapulang Village, Balapulang District.
