A couple of people aged 83 and 81 was found dead at his home on December 26 in the agglomeration of Rouen, we learned Thursday from the Rouen prosecutor’s office, which at this stage favors the hypothesis of a murder followed by suicide.

“Investigations, in particular forensic, are still underway to ensure that this hypothesis can be confirmed,” said Soizic Guillaume, deputy prosecutor of Rouen.
According to the first elements of the investigation no written document that could explain their death was left by the deceased but the man was found hanged, according to the prosecution.
The couple resided in Saint-Aubin-lès-Elbeuf, a town in the metropolis of Rouen.
