(CNN Spanish) – Inspired by a church in Italy, a parish in the city of Curitiba, state of Paraná, region in the south of Brazil, put photos of its faithful on the benches of the place.
So far, more than 170,000 photos have been sent to the church, and even the walls have been covered.
The initiative means that priests do not feel alone when they celebrate Masses without the presence of the faithful.
According to the latest information from the Brazilian Ministry of Health, at least 11 people have died from the coronavirus, and there are 904 confirmed cases.
