New Delhi – The court granted bail to businessman Shankar Mishra, who was arrested in the case of urinating on a female passenger in an Air India flight. Delhi Patiala House Court granted bail. Mishra was arrested on January 6 in a case of urinating on the body of a female passenger while traveling on an Air India flight from New York to Delhi.
The court observed that there were contradictions in the testimony of the complainant and the witness. The Delhi Police opposed the bail, arguing that the incident was an embarrassment to India in front of other countries.

At the same time, the court replied that it was a matter of a different level and that it could do whatever the law dictated in the present case. The police told the court that Shankar Mishra did not cooperate with the investigation and kept his phone switched off. But denying all these arguments, Shankar Mishra was granted bail.
