This Monday morning again, the line is cut between the Hôtel Dieu and Diderot stations and it will remain so for an indefinite period. Of the relay bus were set up between Diderot and Pont Rousseau martyrs. On the platforms, the information panels indicate “technical incident” without further details.
The incident in question is the result ofan accident occurred Saturday afternoon near the Pont Rousseau martyrs station as the TAN indicates on its Twitter account. A motorist who was traveling by mistake on the tracks “violently hit” a post that supports the catenaries of the tram according to the TAN press release published Monday morning. The damage is very important and the repairs will take time.
Because of this cut, line 2 is also disturbed this Monday morning because the trains could not leave the Trocardière depot. The trams were therefore crowded at rush hour and showed delays.
