A school area is once again the scene of a shooting, this time on Staten Island, where a teenager was shot in the leg near a high school.
The 14-year-old injured his right leg.
The incident occurred near Huguenot High School around 2pm.
Medical personnel transported the injured teenager to Staten Island University North Hospital and he is expected to recover.
Authorities are now looking for two suspects who, according to them, escaped on foot wearing balaclavas.
They also indicate that 5 shells were recovered at the site of the events.
