Eiyuden Chronicle: Already more than 2.6 million euros collected on Kickstarter – News

On July 24, the creators of Suikoden put JRPG fans in turmoil with the announcement of Eiyuden Chronicle, a spiritual sequel to the famous license.

Developed by Rabbit & Bear Studios, an entity made up of Suikoden veterans, Eiyuden Chronicle : Hundred Heroes should reach us in 2022 on several media, including PS5, Xbox Series X and Switch in addition to the PC, if the milestones are reached. This shouldn’t be a problem since 11 days from the end of the campaign Kickstarter, the title has already collected € 2,650,021 from 32,201 contributors. A financial mobilization that made it possible to achieve 24 additional levels, which places Eiyuden Chronicle in ninth place of the most supported games on the platform. Yoshitaka Murayama, Creative Director, recently said:

Eiyuden Chronicle is now the most supported project by the Japanese. For this project, I want to take the passion of the fans and put it into the game, that’s what I feel. I’ve seen people on social media say this was the first Kickstarter they’ve ever supported and that makes me so happy. (…) Usually it’s a feeling you get on release day when you sell your game, but with Eiyuden Chronicle we can feel it the same right now. (…) Thank you for all the enthusiasm and support. It really keeps me going. So join us on this two-year journey into the development of this game.
