Three men arrested for threatening witnesses in R. Kelly | NOW

Three men have been arrested for allegedly intimidating women who testify in the R. Kelly abuse case. The men would claim them TMZ including blackmailed and threatened.

Richard Arline, who says he is friends with the singer, would have offered one of the alleged victims half a million dollars (more than 400,000 euros) if she were to withdraw from the case.

Donnell Russell, who claims to be Kelly’s manager, adviser and friend, allegedly threatened to throw sexually explicit photos and details from the sex life of one of the witnesses if she does not withdraw her charges. The third man is called Michael Williams and says he is related to Kelly’s former spokesman. Williams is said to have set fire to the car of one of the alleged victims.

The singer’s lawyer says Kelly “has nothing to do with these actions.” “He hasn’t tried to intimidate anyone or encourage others to do so.”

Kelly is stuck at the Chicago Metropolitan Correctional Center awaiting trials. He is suspected of extortion and sexual misconduct and will face trial in Chicago in October.

The 52-year-old singer has been charged with dozens of sexual misconduct cases in Illinois, Minnesota and New York. The singer has denied all charges.
