Tourism Bus Overturns in Ciater, West Java

The tourism bus containing the Mts group from Serang, Banten, overturned in Ciater, West Java (West Java). The bus will go to Subang from Bandung.

Reported detikjabar, Monday (5/6/2023) Subang Police Head of Traffic Unit AKP Lucky Martono said the bus was carrying 58 passengers. The passenger bus with number A-7573-ZN driven by Asep bus walked off the road.

“The chronology of the PO. PUTRA KJU bus vehicle number A-7573-ZN driven by Asep came from Bandung/south to Subang/north, carrying 58 (fifty eight) passengers,” said Lucky when contacted by detikJabar.

However, Lucky continued, when the bus passed the TKP, it was suspected that when the road was descending, the bus walked off the road and hit a tree causing it to roll over to the right of the Ciater main road. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.

“When driving down the road and turning left, the PO. PUTRA KJU bus vehicle number A-7573-ZN walked off the road and then hit a tree on the left/west shoulder of the road resulting in the PO. PUTRA KJU bus vehicle number A- 7573-ZN rolled to the right on the road towards Bandung towards Subang,” said Lucky.

“The result of the traffic accident resulted in the driver and passenger of the vehicle being injured and then being taken to the Palasari Health Center and Jalancagak Health Center to get help and treatment, while the vehicle that was involved in the traffic accident was damaged,” said Lucky.
