The Valencian Community has registered in the last 24 hours 64 new cases of coronaviruses (confirmed with PCR) and 10 more deaths (three in residences), which brings the total number of positives confirmed with PCR tests to 10,455, and accumulates 1,289 deaths since the start of the pandemic, with 7,655 discharges.
In the press conference by videoconference on Tuesday, the Minister of Health, Ana Barceló, clarified the difference in figures with the Ministry of Health, after yesterday the Ministry confirmed 148 new cases, all of them by rapid tests, and the Government said that there was no case, since it only reports those confirmed with PCR.
He has indicated that from now on the data offered daily will follow the criteria of the Ministry of Health to report only positive cases confirmed by PCR tests.
In addition, he stressed that, as yesterday, there have only been 11 hospital admissions, the lowest number since March 18, so that currently 606 people are hospitalized, of which 105 are in the ICU (nine fewer than on Monday ) and has pointed out that the percentage of income in the ICU is 2.6.
