Unexpected News of the Forming of the Indonesian Student Party

Jakarta

Party College student Indonesia suddenly appeared and was registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham). Various responses also emerged.

This unexpected news was originally conveyed by the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad. Dasco said the Indonesian Student Party was legal at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham).

“A new party has been born, there is the Labor Party. Then there is the Labor Party College student Indonesia. It’s legal at the Department of Law and Human Rights,” said Dasco during an audience with representatives of the mass demonstration at the parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (21/4/2022).

The Daily Chairperson of the Gerindra DPP invited the party that had just received the Kemenkumham Decree to compete in the 2024 Simultaneous Election contestation. Dasco hopes that they can fight for the rights of the people together with the party that has an office in Senayan.

“Well, we welcome you. Let’s then compete, find a seat in the DPR that together can fight for your rights with us,” he said.

“The Indonesian Student Party, I have checked, it is true that it has passed the Kumham (Kemenkumham), it’s just a matter of verification for the election. With so many students, they should be able to jointly win seats in the DPR to fight for student aspirations,” added Dasco.

Dasco encouraged the cadres of the Indonesian Student Party to be able to gain a lot of votes so that they could pass in parliament.

“It’s the same with students, with millions of students, you can’t get 20 seats, so we together in parliament fight for what must be fought for for the nation and state,” he said.
