BILD reporter Nelly Kühn is overwhelmed by SO much decoration
100,000 lights shine in “Rolf’s”, tens of thousands of spheres and ornaments decorate the ceiling and walls. Around 800 dolls sit in the restaurant. Christmas music is playing in the background. Here every inch screams: “Merry Christmas!”
On the menu: Schnitzel, Sauerbraten, Spätzle and original Munich beer from the Hofbräuhaus.

And how does the “German Schnitzel” taste for around 40 dollars?
BILD reporter Nelly Kühn tried it. “The schnitzel is okay, every now and then you bite a tendon. Spaetzle are delicious, the beans are unseasoned. You don’t come here for the food, at “Rolf’s” you pay for the amazing decorations – and that makes the visit worthwhile. ”
